Welcome to Cults Kart Club!

Cults Kart Club is a non-MSA club founded in 2001 with a handful of fun karters who developed into local racers and grew the club to its current level of 80-plus members. We run 10 fun meetings per year loosely governed by the Blue Book but using discretion to cover expense and fun. Most MSA classes are covered with classes for two stroke direct drive but we will find a place for any kart. Gearbox karts are now starting to prove popular and are accommodated with a long straight. Juniors specifically are encouraged covering Comer, WTP, Honda and TKM.

AUGUST MEETING

Results now in.
Photos now added!!

As we are now over half way in the year, the ADJUSTED TOTAL COLUMN is again brought back.
This automatically deducts your worst meeting score, in line with club rules, so everyone can allow for being away one month with their bucket and spade!

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE CLUB?

Hi, if you were at our recent open day and are considering joining the club then please go to the Information section of the website where you will find a membership application form-just fill it in and send it in as directed.
Please note that as we are now almost into September, the joining fee for the remainder of this year, following the Open day, is now only £15, so you can get some practice in before the new season starts. A full year starts from January.
If you have any problems or queries, just e-mail the website and we will be very happy to help you.

OPEN DAY

Thanks to all members who helped make this such a success.
It's a classic case that if we all do a little, the Club gains so much.
Towards the end, the queue of those wanting to try a kart built up to more than 20 deep and we could have done with several more karts. This is definitely the way to encourage new members and the Club is already looking at possibly acquiring another Cadet, if we do this again.
Thanks again.

PHOTO GALLERY

The quality of the website photos has been upgraded but unfortunately this has made them bigger and possibly less convenient because you have to scroll.
One suggestion is to click on the button at the top which says "If you'd rather view the gallery in a separate window click here.
Once that opens, go into the drop down menu at the right saying "Page" then click on zoom and set to 75% or less depending on your preference.

Mini-Moto

Interested in this fun type of racing which is growing in popularity?
Well now you can enjoy your fun on a proper track, with all on track facilities available. The club has been approached by local racers and we are happy to offer membership to all who meet the club's requirements.
If you want to join, just download the application form in the information section of this site, fill it in and send to our race secretary with your membership fee of £45 for an individual or £90 for a family. For this you will be sent an information package of club rules, flags and constitution plus a key for the gate. As a full member you are welcome to use the track to practice anytime within reason but it is essential you close the estate gates coming in and out.
Race meetings are held monthly and a race entry is £20, for all ages and classes. The dates are in the information section.
Spectators are always very welcome and can watch for free.
Our normal race meeting set up is 3 heats and a final but this can change due to circumstances.
You must wear a full one piece race suit with adequate protection, race helmet, gloves and boots.
All equipment will be scrutineered beforehand and the Clerk of the Course keeps a close eye on safety and driving standards.
So if you want to race in a safe and fun way, we look forward to welcoming you.

Race Entries

If you want to put in an entry for a monthly meeting, simply e-mail our race secretary Laura Scott on lls_77@hotmail.com with your details,-- name, class, kart number, and mention if you are a novice. Make sure you e-mail Laura before the deadline of 5pm on the preceeding Wednesday. There's no need to send money, just pay on the day.
Any entry received after 5pm on Wednesday is treated as a late entry, incurring a £5 late entry fee and the driver starts from the back of the grid.
Please don't e-mail the website as it is not checked every day.
The day starts with scrutineering from 8.30-9.30 and after drivers briefing and practice, the structure is usually three heats and a final for each class.

2009 End of Year Prizegiving and AGM

This turned out to be another very successful "end of year" night, with the Grapes packed out and a good atmosphere all round. Thanks to Linda, Gloria and all for their hard work in producing a successful buffet and everybody for their fund raising efforts.
